Hi! This is me again writing in English! Is it going to be a Wednesday thing? Maybe, I don't know. At least I'll try to do it on a weekly basis.

Today I'm going to talk about Captain America AND Steve/Tony so you can totally skip this post if you are not into that :)

A couple of weeks ago, as I said when Chris Hemsworth was the babe of the week, I watched The Avengers and I fell crazy in love with it. Well, obsessed is a more accurate word for it.

While on Tumblr, I read some girl saying that she really loved the movie, but she would have loved it more if Jensen Ackles had been chosen to play Captain America, because he would have been so good. That got me thinking. Would have been, really?

When Chris Evans got the part, I wasn't very convinced. First, because I only had seen him in "silly" roles before: Cellular, Not Another Teen Movie, The Perfect Score. And second, because I'm not really a fan of actors playing more than one superhero. If he was already the Human Torch, why should he be playing Captain America too? Didn't seem fair.

I really wanted Ryan McPartlin to get the part: he's physically perfect, and can do humor very well. Then that picture was released and well... Now I can't picture Ryan as Steve Rogers before the serum xD

I finally watched Captain America: The First Avenger the day before I went to see The Avengers. I liked it, and Chris convinced me, he was adorable, both before and after the serum. I never really cared for the character before, because I really haven't read a lot of Marvel stories and always thought he looked kind of silly, but I ended up liking Captain America a lot.


And then I watched The Avengers.

I went to see it expecting to ship Iron Man/Captain America. The trailer looked very promising, but I wanted to see with my own eyes if Robert and Chris had real chemistry or not. And wow. I was totally blown away by their sexual tension, it was amazing.

So, what if Jensen Ackles got the part? I don't know. He's a great actor, specially if he has someone by his side who can get the best of him, and RDJ is an excellent actor, so they'd have probably been very good together. Jensen usually has chemistry with everyone and that happens to be Robert's case too, so I have no doubts that they'd have had chemistry too. But, THAT incredible, mind blowing sexual tension that Robert and Chris have? Not sure about that. But that's maybe because Jensen has that kind of tension with Misha, so I don't really imagine him having this kind of intensity with another person. Altough Robert has that tension with Jude, and with Val Kilmer, and with a lot of people, really, so I guess we'll never know.
(And to be fair, yeah, Robert has a lot of chemistry with Mark Ruffalo as well, but I like to see Tony and Bruce as BFF's. I liked Tony with Rhodey too, but that was before Steve xD)


The point is, thanks to Chris' performance I've ended up loving Captain America very, very much, so now I can't really imagine another actor playing him. And his scenes with Iron Man didn't disappoint at all, quite the contrary. So all I can say is that casting Chris Evans was an excellent decision and I'm very grateful for that.

Y como bien dijo Morgan en la finale de Criminal Minds,

De momento de lo que llevo de finales Criminal Minds y ésta son las que se llevan la palma en cuanto a lloreras, pero lo de House es normal teniendo en cuenta que ya se ha acabado para siempre...

¿Sabéis qué me da un poco de rabia? Cuando me toca poner al tío de la semana y pongo a un actor que me gusta, y meses después mi amor por ese actor se multiplica por mil y siento que es entonces cuando debería ponerlo porque es entonces cuando mi amor por él es más intenso pero no puedo porque ya lo he puesto!!! Y lo mejor es cuando me arrepiento de no haberlo incluido en el Top 10 xDDDDDDD

En fin, todavía quedan muchos tíos guapos por salir, así que sin más dilación el tío de hoy.

STEPHEN DORFF

Tenía yo pues... quince años cuando se estrenó Blade en el cine. Nunca he sido una gran fanática de los vampiros, de hecho no les veo ese encanto ni esa fascinación que despiertan, pero Deacon Frost, uffff, Deacon Frost era otra cosa. Y Blade, Blade también me ponía mucho.

Luego empezó a hacer cosas como Feardotcom, Cold Creek Manor y Alone in the Dark y ya era verle y asociarlo a peli cutre, pero parece que se está esforzando por salir del pozo de mierda en el que se había metido, con pelis como Somewhere o incluso Immortals ya es otra cosa.

Mi opinión sobre la finale de Supernatural

He estado viendo uno de los contenidos extra que se llama "Holmes y Watson, la química perfecta" o algo así, y que dura unos cinco minutos y algo. En esos cinco minutos,

-Robert dice que él siente por Jude lo que Holmes siente por Watson, ♥
-Jude dice que esta peli fue más fácil de rodar porque ya se conocían él y Robert así que se pudieron saltar el proceso de aprender a trabajar juntos. Y que antes de empezar a rodar se iban a ensayar a casa de Robert.
-Las imágenes que van poniendo de fondo mientras los actores y gente asociada van hablando son prácticamente las más slashys de la peli,
-Stephen Fry habla de la presunta homosexualidad de Holmes y Watson, de cómo siempre se ha especulado si son gays, y que en la película no lo abordan directamente pero que sí juegan un poco con ello (y en las imágenes sale la famosa escena de Robert yendo a besar a Jude y Jude tapándole la boca con la mano en el último segundo xD).
-Watson: "You are finally taking me to Paris" Holmes: "It's like a honeymoon but without Mary!" y los dos se empiezan a descojonar vivos.

Y prácticamente todas las improvisaciones de estos dos van por este palo xDDDD

Luego ya me he puesto la escena del baile and everything became rainbows and flowers ♥

Lástima que mi felicidad se vaya a evaporar probablemente en un rato cuando vea Supernatural... xD

Querida gente envuelta en el proceso de Magic Mike: ya me habíais convencido para ver la película. Sólo con el reparto y el argumento ya estaba convencida. No hacía falta esto, de verdad. Os lo agradezco, pero no era necesario:

Bah, a quién quiero engañar, por supuesto que era necesario. ¡Es el puñetero objetivo de la película! ¡Enseñar carne! Así que gracias EW por esta gran contribución a la humanidad.

WOA WOA WOA. ¿Dirigida y escrita por Bong Joon-ho? ¿Protagonizada por Chris Evans y Jamie Bell? ¿Con Song Kang-ho por ahí por supuesto?



Y luego, el trailer de The Words. No me había hecho muchas ilusiones con esta película porque las críticas decían que es más bien flojeta, y con Limitless más o menos me pasó eso, que la peli me gustó pero podría haber sido mucho mejor de lo que fue al final, pero jo, el trailer me ha convencido.

Y joder, Bradley está INCREÍBLEMENTE GUAPO. Como si no lo estuviera siempre, pero, pero... No sé, está perfecto.


Aparte lo que me hace gracia de esta película es que uno de los dos directores es el chico parapléjico que iba con un perro en 97 Seconds, ese episodio tan fabuloso de House M.D. (el de THAT SCENE), y siempre que lo veo me acuerdo de justo ese momento, de cómo THAT SCENE transiciona a la gran escena dramática del epi, sobs... Quiero volver a esos tiempos... (por cierto también salió en Psych, el epi con la hermana de Lassiter creo).

En fins, ¡en octubre la veo!

Tristemente sigo mirando cada día las noticias para ver si hay alguna novedad sobre la peli de Bradley y Ryan pero va a ser que no...

(I want to practice grammar -my big flaw- so I'm probably going to write more entries in English from now on. Forgive my many mistakes, please, I'm trying to improve but I guess it's a slow process!)

You know what's one of my favourite feelings in the world? Expecting to like a pairing before watching a movie or a tv show. And then watching said movie/tv show, a little afraid that maybe reality won't live to your high expectations, and discovering that said pairing is so wonderful and perfect that you end up loving it even more than you imagined you would. It's an amazing sensation.

But loving an unexpected pairing is very nice too. I love discovering new pairings. It brings me so much joy.

I was thinking today that RDJ's been one of the more stable things in my life for a significant amount of time. I started liking him eleven years ago this summer -I used to hate him a lot too, after he was fired from Ally McBeal-, and never stopped since. My shelf full of his DVD's can testify that.


I remember that around that time I started drawing a comic (didn't get too far, unfortunately). In of the panels I drew a brick wall, and on that wall, there were a couple of graffitis. I wrote Hyde x Megumi, choosing the female name randomly. Shortly after, Hyde, the singer from L'Arc~en~Ciel, got married to a woman named Megumi.

So I went back to that drawing and I wrote another thing on that wall; I wrote: "RDJ is going to get over his drug addiction and he's coming back to Ally McBeal", and I hoped that it would become true too.

Well, technically he never returned to the show -although they used old footage of him in the last season, does that count?- but he overcame his addiction... and look at him now. Starring in a movie that has reached more than 1 billion already and that's shattering all kind of records. I'm so happy for him.

And I love him for a lot of reasons, but one of those reasons is that no matter how hard things might get, he always manages to make me happy. He's been doing it for eleven years, and for that, Robert, I say it again: I love you and thank you.

Oh! And I'm very excited for Iron Man 3 because a) it's going to be directed and written by Shane Black (the guy who did the amazing Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) and b) Andy Lau might star!!!! And he'll play a friend of Tony's! O-M-G. Totally awesome. And if I'm very very lucky maybe Chris Evans can do at least a cameo...

Si no me dolieran tanto los ovarios todavía me duraría el subidón por el fin de semana marveliano tan chuli que hicimos, pero bueno, sigo entusiasmada que no es poco xD Así que por supuesto hoy toca a uno de los Avengers que además acaba de ser papá de una nena con Elsa Pataky, felicidades a ambos! Qué envidia le tengo a Elsa, aunque bueno, no sería mi primera elección si me dejaran quedarme con alguno de los Avengers (ni la segunda xD).

Leo que NBC ha cogido también Chicago Fire, que es una serie de bomberos. Veo la foto promocional del casting (aquí, en grande). La inspecciono con detenimiento de derecha a izquierda:


Mis reacciones son, por este orden,
-¡Anda, es Chase! ¡Qué guapo está! Ahora que ya se termina House, me apetece mucho seguir viéndole, creo que le echaré un vistazo a esta serie.
-Mmmm, qué chico más guapo tiene a su lado. Pegan cantidad. ¿Me pregunto si los podré slashear a los dos? Creo que veré la serie para comprobarlo.
-Ah, la chica de Lie to Me. Me cae muy bien esta chica. Sigue sumando puntos para entrar en mi visionado la próxima temporada.
-Wait... is that... ¡Agh, es Lori!

Y con eso se me han quitado las ganas de ver la serie xD Pero creo que haré el esfuerzo igualmente, igual esta vez como ya está de entrada no será como si la hubieran metido con calzador y no me molestará tanto verla xDDDD

Así que msí, tiene posibilidades. Me esperaré al trailer por eso.

Edit: Qué rabia el no poder fangirlear de 90210 porque no conozco a nadie que la vea y el episodio de esta semana ha sido wonderful y amazing porque mi OTP es perfecta y AGHHHHH MY FEELS!!!!
